I Tyskland ansl\u00e5r en politirapport fra Berlin, at 30 % af byens arabiske m\u00e6nd har mere end en hustru, hvoraf \u00e9n er registreret, mens de andre er illegale, if\u00f8lge forbundsregeringens registre. Alligevel bliver de viet hemmeligt af en <i>imam<\/i> i overensstemmelse med muslimsk lov og tolereres af regeringen.<\/p>\n<p>Flere lande som Frankrig, Holland, Sverige og Storbritannien accepterer polygame \u00e6gteskaber, hvis de indg\u00e5s udenlands.<\/p>\n<p>Dette har imidlertid skabt et nyt problem: en stor og uventet \u00f8konomisk byrde og et socialt problem for de gener\u00f8se europ\u00e6iske stater, fordi de muslimske immigranter beder om ogs\u00e5 at blive sammenf\u00f8rt med deres familier.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9n sag, der har skabt nyheder, var en immigrant til Danmark, Daham Al Hasan, der kr\u00e6ver at f\u00e5 ret til familiesammenf\u00f8ring, for at hans tre koner og 20 b\u00f8rn kan slutte sig til ham. Indtil videre har \u00e9n kone og 17 af b\u00f8rnene f\u00e5et tilladelse til komme op til deres mand\/fader. Han er afh\u00e6ngig af, at b\u00f8rnefamilieydelse skal hj\u00e6lpe ham.
