E<\/span>n af De forenede Nationers kendem\u00e6rker er, at afstemninger om Israel har en overv\u00e6ldende sk\u00e6vhed i den j\u00f8diske stats disfav\u00f8r. Et typisk eksempel, som i \u00f8vrigt gentages dusinvis af gange hvert \u00e5r, er Verdenssundhedsorganisationens (WHO) rapport sidste \u00e5r (A69\/B\/CONF.\/1, 24. maj 2016) og det, der fulgte.<\/p>\nRapporten ford\u00f8mte Israel, idet den p\u00e5stod, at l\u00e6gehj\u00e6lp til pal\u00e6stinensiske arabere blev forhalet eller n\u00e6gtet af Israel. Den absurde rapport blev tilbagevist af kendsgerningerne: tilstedev\u00e6relsen af pal\u00e6stinensiske patienter p\u00e5 alle israelske hospitaler, inklusive arabere fra Det pal\u00e6stinensiske Selvstyres omr\u00e5de (PA) og fra det Hamas<\/i>-kontrollerede Gaza, som modtog n\u00f8jagtig samme behandling som j\u00f8diske patienter.<\/p>\n
Israel er kendt for at hj\u00e6lpe dem, der er i n\u00f8d. Et israelsk felthospital blev sat op p\u00e5 Golanh\u00f8jderne langs med gr\u00e6nsen, kun med henblik p\u00e5 gratis behandling af syrisk-arabiske ofre og andre, der blev n\u00e6gtet hj\u00e6lp i det krigsramte Syrien. Af de europ\u00e6iske lande var to frav\u00e6rende ved afstemningen, men alle andre stemte skammeligt for at anklage Israel, heriblandt de, der ofte kaldes \u201dIsraels venner\u201d: \u00d8strig, Tyskland, Holland, Schweiz, Storbritannien og alle de skandinaviske lande.<\/p>\nIronisk nok var adskillige dusin lande med hovedsageligt muslimske befolkninger frav\u00e6rende ved afstemningen.
